A meeting was held with the management of KBTU

On May 28, 2025, a working meeting was held in the building of the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU) between the Deputy Chairman of the Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MDDIAI) Alan Kazkenov and the Chairman of the Board of JSC “National Center for Space Research and Technology” (NCSRT) Marat Dzhanikeyev and the Rector of KBTU Gabdullin Tulebergenovich. The purpose of the visit was to discuss promising areas of cooperation in the field of aerospace research, development of educational programs and implementation of joint scientific and educational projects.
During the meeting, the parties noted the high level of training of specialists at KBTU, as well as the dynamic development of university laboratories and research centers. KBTU employees presented current scientific and educational initiatives in the field of aerospace technologies.
Gabdullin Maratbek Tulebergenovich emphasized that KBTU is actively expanding the practical component of training, creating conditions for participants in the educational process to gain experience at real industrial and research sites. In turn, representatives of the MDDIAI and NCSRT expressed their readiness to provide methodological and technical support, as well as to implement joint projects.
After the business part of the meeting, Kazkenov A. and Dzhanikeev M. inspected the key laboratories of KBTU. In particular, they visited:
- laboratories of “Robotics and Mechatronics” and “Electronics and Electrical Engineering”;
- laboratories of “Alternative Energy and Nanotechnology” and “Advanced Materials and Technologies”.
All participants noted the high level of technical equipment and potential of the KBTU research staff, and expressed confidence that new joint projects will contribute to strengthening the scientific, educational and practical potential of Kazakhstan in the field of space technologies.
