Young scientists of NCSRT received certificates for apartments

JSC National Center of Space Research and Technology (NCSRT) is proud to announce that its young scientists have become one of the specialists awarded state support as part of the most important housing program for researchers. This step highlights the recognition of their contribution to the development of national science and technology.

In pursuance of the instructions of the Head of State given at a meeting with young scientists in Gylym Ordasy on May 31, 2024, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has launched large-scale work to support promising researchers. Since May 2024, a list of young scientists (up to and including 40 years old) in need of housing has been formed. This initiative is an important element of the government’s strategy to strengthen the country’s scientific potential, create favorable conditions for researchers to work and attract new staff to the field of science and innovation.

Based on the results of consideration of 300 applications received from leading scientific organizations and universities subordinate to government agencies and located in Almaty, the Republican Commission approved a list of candidates, which also included young scientists from NCSRT who made a significant contribution to scientific research and the development of advanced technologies. Certificates for the purchase of housing were received:

Laura Mustafa – Head of the Laboratory of Aerospace Materials of the NCSRT Materials Science Department;

Nurmakhan Esbolov – Researcher at the Laboratory of Thermal Insulation Materials of the NCSRT Materials Science Department;

Asset Egizbayeva – Leading researcher at the NCSRT Department of Remote Sensing of the Earth.

This step of the state is not just support, but an important recognition of the merits of young scientists, their contribution to the development of strategically important areas of science. It not only strengthens the prestige of the profession of a scientist, but also makes it possible to focus on research without being distracted by solving social issues.

Speaking on behalf of the young scientists, Laura Mustafa, Head of the NCSRT Materials Science Laboratory, expressed sincere gratitude to the country’s leadership for their invaluable support and emphasized that the expansion of programs and opportunities for young specialists opens up new horizons for scientific breakthroughs and technological achievements.

NCSRT is confident about the future, appreciating the state’s efforts to develop science and technology. We express our deep gratitude to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the implementation of this important initiative and believe that such measures will help Kazakhstan to reach the forefront in the global scientific community!
